Last night, Friday the 13th of February 2015 (13/2/15), I went out clubbing for the first time since 2004!
The venue, Bowlers Exhibition Centre
(Manchester), the bash, Totally Lost It: Valentines Massacre
, 8pm till 5am, cost £25 ($38.50), 3 arena's playing music of the harder styles, I was in the second arena, The Cave, where the hardest stuff was being blasted, Hardcore, Gabber, Industrial, HardStyle and Frenchcore! The night was good, the music, even better, I was in The Cave at 8pm and got on the dancefloor moments after, all went well... until around about 11pm, where I had been going pretty much all the time since 8pm, my legs were consumed with cramp, just trying to do a few moves and any part of my legs would seize up, stopping me in my tracks
This was very annoying, as we had a special DJ in from Holland, Hardbouncer and had been looking forward to his set since I heard about the even several weeks ago, alas, I guess I should have been pacing myself, but I suppose this is what happens when you've been cold-turkey for 11 years.
The night, as said was good, totally worth it, the price of the drinks, not so good, £2 for a 500ml bottle of soft-drink, I should have seen that coming, but it didn't bother me all that much, I only had 4 of them and of course, I had gone for the music... just wish my legs weren't so sore now
